PagesThatBind provides a platform where you can Print, Design and Accessorize your books.

 

Print

  • We accept for printing a wide variety of common book sizes that cater to self-publishing, photobooks, commercial and corporate interests.
  • You can opt for both softcover and hardcover binding, from paperbacks (perfect bind) to magazine-style (saddle-stitch), creative thread stitching (saddle-sewn), wire, spiral and hard case binding.
  • For our hardcover-bound books, pages are all thread-sewn together so that these can open flat.
  • We offer 4 types of paper materials for the inside pages – woodfree, matt uncoated, gloss coated and textured.
  • Softcover binding comes with a choice of matt or gloss lamination for the cover. For hardcover binding, choose either image-wrapped or linen-wrapped for the cover.

Design

  • We provide cover design and page layout & formatting services.

Accessorize

  • We make matching slip case, dust jacket and presentation boxes for your books.
  • PagesThatBind provides a hassle-free means to send your softcopy book for printing and binding, starting from 1 copy. And if you have not designed or put together your pages, we offer design and page layout service to get your book print ready.  
  • Getting your formatted book ready for print is easy. You would already have your book designed and layout using available desktop tools like Office 365 or Adobe CC.  Websites like Canva (canva.com) also offers intuitive tools to design and layout your book.  Once done, save your print file in PDF format.
  • Choose from customising your order by Binding Type or Book Type.
  • Once you have completed your selection, indicate the quantity required and confirm your specifications to get the printing cost.
  • Upload your artwork.
  • Register for a free PagesThatBind account (optional) or sign-in as guest.
  • Choose your collection/delivery option.
  • Complete checkout and make payment. Currently, only PayNow is accepted.
  • Production of your order commences once we receive your artwork and it meets the specifications of the order, and after full payment is received.
  • We reserve the rights to refuse an order if the print is offensive, improper or indecent, religiously insensitive, illegal or infringes copyrights/public sensitivity.
  • You can access our site 24 hours a day to order. However, our customer service and production are available only on Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm except for Singapore public holidays.
  • Our company is GST-registered; hence all charges will be subject to prevailing GST rate.
  • Book cost depends on Book Size, Colour/Black printing, Number of Pages, Paper Material, type of Binding and Quantity ordered.
  • Use the Price Calculator to visually take you through these specifications to arrive at the printing cost.
  • You may print just one copy. Use this copy as a personal copy, as a proof copy or as a gift to a friend. You may choose later to reprint with a larger quantity.
  • The minimum charge per book is S$10.00, excluding delivery cost and prevailing GST.
    If a promo code is applied and the final total after discount is less than S$10.00, it will be rounded to S$10.00 during checkout.
  • It is not possible to apply multiple promo codes to a single order.
  • Delivery cost is not added to the print cost, you may opt for self-collection.
  • PRICE REVISION: We update our prices from time to time which means subsequent orders may not enjoy the earlier same pricing. We will not be able to follow the previous price.
  • BULK PRINT: The Pricing Calculator will provide print cost for up to 100 copies. For quantity larger than 100 copies, please email us your requirements and we will quote you separately.
  • Currently, we only accept payment via PayNow. We do not accept credit card payment. 
  • When paying via PayNow, send us proof of the offline payment and your order number and we will process the order once this is received.
  • You may print the online receipt for your reference. Invoices will not be issued except for corporate orders.
  • We recommend PDF as the printing format for your file. If you are using Word, Excel, Powerpoint or Publisher to create your work, convert them to PDF first before uploading the file for printing.  Make sure the fonts are embedded in your work before converting them to PDF.  
  • The same applies for Adobe file types like InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop or other image editing tools that create Jpeg files. Convert these to PDF, embedding the fonts before uploading them.
  • If you require printing right up to the edge of the page, please include bleed and crop marks on your artwork to ensure it is printed edge to edge.
  • If your artwork does not have colour or images to the edge of the page, you do not need to include bleed and crop marks. In this instance, your document will be printed with white borders.  Click here for an explanation on how to prepare your file. 
  • We do not check or proofread your file before printing. Your document will be printed as per your selected specifications.  Please check for any spelling mistakes, incorrect layout or pagination, image pixilation prior to uploading the artwork.
  • We also do not provide any colour checking nor colour management for your file.
  • Create your artwork in CMYK colour format before sending it for print. Files created in RGB colour format may look good on screen but for printing, it will be converted to CMYK.  The printed version will NOT look like the screen RGB version.
  • For best result, ensure your images and graphics have a resolution of 300dpi. Lower resolution images may look good on screen but may look pixelated when printed.
  • To keep costs low, we do not provide proof copies.
  • Order one copy and use this as a proof. You can then make any necessary corrections or changes before placing a second order with a larger quantity.
  • For reorder with the same specifications, the paper material, the binding and finishing options will be used as the earlier order.
  • However, there will be subtle colour variance as the document may be printed on different machines. We also do not keep samples for colour matching purpose.
  • We do not obtain the copyright to any uploaded files. If you are the copyright owner, you will continue to hold that right.
  • If you are not the copyright holder, ensure you obtain the necessary permission from the copyright holder to print the document. We cannot seek copyright permission on your behalf.
  • By using our service, you confirm that you have obtained the necessary rights to print the document. We reserve the rights to refuse printing the document if doubts arise.
  • We respect your privacy and will not share or sell your information with any third party. Please refer to our privacy policy for more details.
  • All custom-printed PagesThatBind products are guaranteed against defects in quality and workmanship. If our product is found to be damaged in the production process or during shipment, we will replace, repair or, at PagesThatBind’ option, offer a full or partial refund.  This is on condition that you notify us in writing within 7 days of receiving your books.
  • In such instance, please email us at cs@pagesthatbind.com within 7 days of receiving your book and provide us the order number and photo proof of the defect.
  • We will get in contact with you on where to send the returned books to. You will be responsible for shipping costs for returned items.  Please obtain proof of postage/delivery to avoid “lost packages” situation.  Returned items must be unused and accompanied by proof of purchase.
  • Once we have received and inspected the returned items, we will notify you on the status of the refund or exchange.  Please allow for 2-5 working days to process this.
