Description
A dust jacket, also known as a book jacket, is a protective and detachable printed overlay that wraps around the cover of the book. It is usually used for hardcover book although you can also have one done for a softcover perfect-bound book.
Besides being a protective cover, authors sometime use this to pen short excerpts and reviews on the flap portion of the jacket that wraps inside the book cover.
